Flat screens such as LCDs and LEDs are very stylish.
They can be used in homes or business establishments. The process of mounting
these TVs on the wall is not challenging at all. It is quite simple and can be
completed by two people. Before you start the Flat Screen Wall Mount process, ensure
that you have all the tools needed for the job at hand. Set aside not more than
an hour for the task
Not all the flat
screen TVs can be mounted because earlier models can only be placed on
tabletops. Check if the one you want to mount has the feature. Select the wall
mount type that you prefer. There are two main types. The first one will not
allow you to tilt the TV once it’s mounted. The other one normally referred to
as the Tilt TV Wall Mount, will
allow you to tilt the TV at an angle for enhanced viewing. The second type
normally costs more.
You’ll also need to
decide on the best spot for the TV to be mounted. Select a location that
doesn’t have obstructions. Consider the space for fitting the cables. Interior
walls are preferable since they are easier to drill holes (for the cables) than
exterior walls. An additional power source needs to be present near the place
where the TV will be mounted.
Clock boxes are
great devices that you can use here. Add surge protectors so that your
electronic device can be protected against fluctuations.
Use a stud finder
to find the studs. This is a very important Flat Screen Mount process
that will ensure the TV will remain in place afterwards. LCD TVs require one
stud but for larger sets, use at least two. The next step is to attach the
rails to the TV. Now you can hang the TV according to the specific
manufacturer’s instructions.
Don’t forget the
safety screws. These must be installed so that the TV can be held securely in
place. Connect all cables and turn on the set. In case you want to mount an
iPad, just purchase the required Ipad
Mounts and follow the same procedure.
